    Magazine Street Merchants Association has teamed up with The Scout Guide to promote a curated recurring event on the first Saturday of each month called Art Walk on Magazine Street.

    First Saturdays have been a long-standing existing tradition for art galleries in New Orleans, and it offers a built-in audience that we will encourage to visit Magazine Street for our rebranded event. Original Art Galleries are invited to stay open between 5pm-8pm and consider offering refreshments for the public. Other discounts, special promotions, decorations, happenings, or giveaways are not required but certainly welcome.

    The Scout Guide will feature this event in their printed 2026 The Scout Guide New Orleans issue and registered MSMA Members (contact office@magazinestreet.com to join!) will be listed on the print page.

    MSMA will list the participants and specials on Magazinestreet.com and promote the event on social media, in the news, and via email newsletters. MSMA will also provide all participants with 2 event posters.

    REGISTRATION INFORMATION

    Registration includes all of the following dates:

    We encourage participants to stay consistent and open every month! Registration is all-inclusive and individual dates cannot be added a la carte.

    *We will send out reminders each month to send us your artist openings and other specials to include in promotions.

    PRICING

    Cost is $150 per gallery for all dates.

    MSMA is a not-for-profit organization. Your registration fee goes towards marketing the Art Walk, event materials, and administrative work.

    MAGAZINE STREET RESTAURANT WEEK 2026
    July 10-19, 2026

    IMPORTANT DEADLINES:

    • June 30: Deadline to register to have materials delivered
    • July 9: Deadline to submit menu

    Join us for Magazine Street Restaurant Week! Restaurants, bars, and coffee/sweet shops are invited to participate. This event will encourage locals and visitors alike to sample all the amazing food and drink available on Magazine Street.

    This year, Restaurant Week will run for an additional 3 days, giving participating restaurants the benefit of two full weekends of customer traffic, promotion, and visibility while still keeping the familiar Restaurant Week branding guests know and look forward to each year.

    ABOUT RESTAURANT WEEK

    Prix-Fixe Menu
    Participants should create a prix-fixe menu under $50 (per person, excluding tax and tip). Menus can be 2 or 3 courses, or a creative pairing or offer (beer & a burger pairing, special coffee and pastry pairing, dessert flight, etc.). Restaurants open for more than one meal service may submit separate menus (eg a $20 lunch menu and a $40 dinner menu).

    Restaurant Week Passport
    To further encourage the public to visit multiple merchants during the week, we will offer a Passport with a raffle to win prizes if they visit 3 or more participants. If you would like to provide a prize (eg a discount coupon, gift card, t-shirt, bottle of wine) for the Passport raffle, you can indicate this in your registration.

    Social Media Add-ons
    Instagram Reel - $150: Get extra publicity! Our social media team (PERK Social Media) will visit your business to create an Instagram Reel promoting your store's offerings for Restaurant Week. The video will be posted on @magazinestreet IG, Facebook, and TikTok and will be yours to keep. Price includes a $20 paid ad spend on the video.

    Influencer visit - $200: Our social media team will coordinate an influencer visit to promote your specials! The influencer will come 1-2 weeks before restaurant week. You will be required to provide them and a guest a comped meal. You will also be responsible for fairly tipping your waitstaff as needed. The influencer will create and post the Reel to Instagram, adding your business and @magazinestreet as collaborators on the post. The video will also be posted to Facebook and Instagram.
